Virus advisory

You may be receiving emails from ThinkHost or that appear to come from your own domain with subject lines such as:

- *WARNING* Your Email Account Will Be Closed
- Account Alert
- Important Notification
- Notice: **Last Warning**
- *DETECTED* Online User Violation
- Your Email Account is Suspended For Security Reasons
- Security measures

.. and similar. These will usually have an attachment.

These are more than likely generated by one of a number of rather nasty viruses doing the rounds of the Internet at the moment. Spoofing domain names is part of the ploy to entice you to open the attachment. 

We are waiting on an update to become available for our scanning software to weed these out, so in the meantime please treat emails like these with suspicion and if in doubt, contact our support team for confirmation as to whether the email actually originated with us. All you need to do is quote the subject line in your inquiry when contacting us; please do not attempt to forward the attachment.

For your own security, please ensure you have a current and properly functioning anti-virus package on your computer. ThinkHost’s scanners should be considered only one aspect of your security systems.

Updating billing info

There are two options to update your billing info:

1. Log into your control panel.
2. Select "Billing info" on the left menu.
3. Make sure you fill in all the fields that are marked * and the boxes at the bottom of the page if you need to change credit card information.

Alternatively, you can change your billing information at any time by going to:

https://secure.thinkhost.com/services/info/.

Use this secure page to update your credit card number or type, your mailing address, or your e-mail address. You cannot use this form to change your login ID.
